Dear Friends,
 
I am very pleased to announce that The Bates Foundation has entered into a partnership with the new Mountainside Fitness in Westminster and Excel Sports to sponsor the 2008 Super Shootout 3-point tournament on March 7 & 8 at the new Mountainside Fitness in Westminster . 
 
The format for this tournament will be similar to the 3 point contest at the NBA All-Star Game.   The entry fee is $100 and the winner will receive $2000.  Other gifts and prizes will be handed out as part of this contest.  Also, there are sponsorship opportunities still available for this event.  More details about this event can be found on the attached flyer or by visiting www.supershootout.com .
 
Due to the generosity of Mountainside Fitness and Excel Sports, The Bates Foundation will receive a portion of the proceeds from this event to further our mission of assisting physically disabled individuals in improving their lives through participation in sports.
